They are looking for a dynamic, challenge seeking professional, with solid Accounting experience. Responsibilities : Assist in the oversight of the GL monthly, quarterly and annual close processPrepare Financial Statement and supporting schedules according to the month end close process and proceduresAnalyze the monthly Financial Statements and report variancesAssist in the budgeting process for their assigned entityPrepare forecasts for upper managers upon close, quarter and year end cycleWork with other teams in corporate accounting to make sure work is flowing seamlessly, research any issues or concerns, and work together for resolutionsPrepare monthly account reconciliationsReview bank statementsResearch and reconcile discrepanciesAssist with the documentation and monitoring of monthly controlsAudit and verify documentsAssist with Financial AuditsQualifications : Bachelor degree in Accounting desired, or related degree in Business or FinanceCPA or tracking a plusMasters in Accounting a plus2-4 years of progressive experience in Corporate accountingPublic accounting experience a plus, or public / private mixExperience with process improvement desiredSystem upgrades or implementation experience a plusIntermediate to advanced skills in ExcelStrong competency in a large Accounting systems such as Oracle or SAP a plushighly competent mathematical aptitudeStrong aptitude for research and resolutionHighly organized and detail orientedHybrid : 4 days in office, 1 day from home
