Supervisor Field Operations

Provides leadership to supervise and direct gas and electric field personnel in the operation of the distribution / transmission systems and customer response system over an assigned geographic area. Focus is on safe and effective use of all resources to protect the public, achieve customer satisfaction and meet the needs and demands of the home geographic area. Provides complex technical skills and expertise to ensure safe, effective and reliable energy delivery to customers. Provides resources to assist other MidAmerican Energy Company geographic areas as required by changing workload. Provides resources and technical assistance to other companies and regions of the country during utility disaster emergencies. Affects achievement of company goals. Implements cost saving and value-enhancing opportunities, including implementation of savings available through administration of the collective bargaining agreement.
