Pharmacy Technician - Purchasing & Inventory

Overview

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of Nursing Home patients and their caregivers.

This unique and challenging sub-set of the Pharmacy practice requires a goal-oriented, productive, and hard-working technician that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Our team needs a Purchasing Agent to join our team of professionals!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Receives and Checks in all deliveries in a timely manner
• Accurately distributes and files invoices
• Restocks / Rotates products on the shelves
• Completes the daily processes of the purchasing department
• Purchase inventory and other products based on specific company and guidelines
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Adds items onto item file in computer software
• Computer / data entry input
• Removes outdated products and returns to manufacturers for credit
• Assist with required inventory counts
• Returns Products to wholesalers ( damage, Overstock)
• Performs Inventory Audits Daily
• Will be cross-trained to float to other related areas (Dosis, Returns, Packaging)
• Other tasks are directed by the purchasing manager for the workflow of the pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Active Pharmacy Technician or Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
• Flexibility in scheduling
• Ability to physically perform written and oral instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer experience-windows applications (Excel, MS Word)
• Good Organizational Skills
• Detail Oriented
• Neat / clean Appearance and Habits
• Ability to Lift Heavy Boxes and Equipment up to 50LBS
• Visual Acuity
• Punctuality
