This position will be hybrid out of the Addison, Texas or Madison, Wisconsin location.
Business Systems Analyst-Experienced
The Business Systems Analyst- Experienced will serve as a liaison between the business and technology groups to assist in the identification and execution of IT solutions to support business goals.
This position will work directly with business users to develop requests and support the technical team by clarifying requirements, analyzing data, and performing necessary research to assist the development process.
The role will support the testing process and ensure that the developed solution meets the business need. This is an important role that will work with many areas of the organization and will be key in helping the organization meet its goals.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the business and IT to define and document the business case and supporting requirements, including current state processes / flows and identifying reference documentation
- Facilitate discussions to support requirements generations, cost estimates, to support enhancement requests
- Contribute to the detailed requirements by facilitating discussions with development team, IT managers, and providing documentation to support future development.
- Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to support analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, and continued maintenance of solutions
- Provide suggested improvements to processes and / or systems.
- Organize, maintain, and store requirements in central repository
- Technical research to support interfaces and reporting
- Contribute to test plans and testing
- Perform Gap and Issue Analysis
- Operate with limited supervision or guidance and collaborate with team members in all areas
Qualifications
- 3 years in Business / Systems Analysis, certification preferred
- Previous experience documenting requirements and processes. Specifically providing current state documentation vs. future state documentation
- Experience in handing changes to requirements and priorities
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Understanding and experience of the Software development life cycle is a plus
- Testing experience is a plus
- Insurance Industry experience preferred
