The client is a home medical equipment company founded in 1983. We offer top quality medical equipment and supplies and provide delivery service to hospitals, extended care facilities, and home care patients.

We are located in Long Beach, CA and serve the Los Angeles and Orange Counties of Southern California.

The client is also proud to be one of the few medical supply companies accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Home Medix has a retail showroom open from 8 : 30AM to 5 : 00PM PST Monday through Friday.

Because medical needs don’t always adhere to these hours, we offer service 24 hour, 7 days a week, to meet your emergency needs.

We also have a respiratory therapist on staff, available by appointment. For your convenience, we will bill Medicare, Medi-cal, CalOptima, and most private insurance companies upon request.

Scope of Work :

  • Process Orders in Niko Health (DME Software)Find eFaxType in demographics and insurance informationFind the correct inventory in our catalog and schedule a deliveryBill / Confirm Order
  • Call Patients for reorders and ask if they need their resupply for the monthIf yes, schedule deliveryAny questions from patients can be transferred to our main office.
  • Call customers to check on refill status
  • Post checks to update balances
  • Taking care of re-orders
  • Monitor daily customer service inquiries and offer top-notch support
  • Determine the quickest and most effective ways to answer customer’s questions
  • Escalate queries and concerns, and work with the respective team members to find appropriate solutions
  • Tools : Google Workspace, Microsoft Office

Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the customer service industry
  • Previous experience in a Senior / Managerial role in customer service, managing a customer service team
  • Good to Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • A natural problem solver with high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred / Nice to Have :

  • Experience in medical customer service / billing
  • Experience in using EHR systems
