SUMMARY
The account representative position is the key liaison between TTC, Toyota Tsusho America Inc (TAI) and the Distributors in the Caribbean Islands and Latin America.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overview Distributor operations and make improvement recommendations
- Support distributors on all inquiries regarding parts pricing, parts availability, order placement process, back orders, and logistics
- Set up new accounts in the Dealer Portal, internal order management system (E1)
- Obtain distributors’ yearly forecast, prepare internal forecast for each distributor, and monitor monthly forecast for specific parts or accessories
- Monitor and follow up monthly sales per distributor to assure sales targets are achieved Responsible for following up Distributor account statement and collection of past due payments.
Prepare and coordinate distributor contract / agreement and credit limit application
- Provide parts training to distributors’ Parts Managers and Staff Ensure distributor Parts Department are able to properly use the TAI Dealer Portal to place and follow up their daily / weekly / monthly orders and perform price and availability inquiries.
- Provide support as needed in the preparation of yearly Parts Conference (CRU) and especial events
- Responsible to prepare and follow up action plan for each distributor and provide countermeasures in order to improve their operations
- Visit Distributors and their customers on a monthly basis to guarantee good customer satisfaction and review possible areas of improvement
- Follow up distributor marketing plan and activities, monitor campaigns / promotions results
- Responsible for preparing and sending all announcements to distributors
- Provide technical support to Distributors including EPC set up instructions, EPC model application inquiries and general parts inquires
- Support distributors on warehouse and inventory management techniques
- Prepare KPI reports and business trip reports and present them to management

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in a related business field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet search engines.
