Job Summary
This position is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our CPVC pipe and fitting fire suppression business through effective leadership of the sales team.
Principal Responsibilities
- Implementation and maintenance of the Aliaxis Business Model within the group, ensuring the completion of strategic account plans, call grids and effective call reporting.
- Annual strategic goal setting for the sales team.
- Pricing management on a National basis. Maintain and monitor our pricing database and approve changes as needed with a focus on maintaining margins while remaining competitive in the market.
- Assist the General Sales Manager in the preparation of forecasts for all products and sectors.
- Detailed analysis and preparation of monthly reports covering sales indicators, market data and future opportunities and obstacles.
- Promote awareness of Health and Safety throughout the team. Understand and incorporate Aliaxis H&S goals into all operational aspects of our sales operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10-15 years experience in sales or management positions with progressively more responsibility, preferably in the fire suppression, wholesale distribution or the construction sector.
- Proven successful experience managing teams with outstanding results.
- Proven ability to make decisions under uncertainty.
- Excellent analytical skills complemented by superior knowledge of excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Inspire the sales team to be product evangelists in the marketplace.Drive the team to maintain a relentlessly positive focus and outlook and to instill maximum confidence in our customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with target utilities and wholesale distribution customers at the Regional and National level.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers such as buying group staff,industry associations and other manufacturers that complement our business
Travel This employee will be require to travel 60-70% of the time to visit customers, facilities and direct reports.
