Remote-Procurement-Sourcing Associate

Volt is immediately hiring a Remote - Sourcing Associate in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will be responsible for providing global procurement support as a Sourcing Associate executing its Labeling and Rebranding initiative.

This position will be responsible for timeline management; supplier communication; request for quotations; preparation, execution and purchase information record creation.

This is a first shift, REMOTE-full-time contingent opportunity.

As a Sourcing Associate, you will be responsible for :

• Timeline Management : Maintains clear communication channels with team members and stakeholders. Addresses any actions promptly.
• Supplier Communication : Fosters collaborative relationships with suppliers. Communicates requirements, specifications, deadlines clearly and effectively to maintain project momentum.
• Request for Quotations : Collaborates with internal stakeholders to build RFQ package. Requests Suppliers for quotations.

Communicates results to key stakeholders for KPI shareout.

Purchase Information Record Creation : Prepares the PIR file and submits requests to STP team for execution and completion.

Works with Buyers to address concerns. Recognizes impacts on processes and ensures communication of issues and proposed solutions to appropriate business and process owners.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Possess a High School Diploma / GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of combined sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering and / or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

Pay Rate : $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
