Our client is a well established full service Bay Area law firm. The firm has a long and strong tradition of commitment to the Bay Area's local communities.

Our client is currently looking for a Litigation Secretary for their South Bay office.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, format, and finalize various legal documents and correspondence
  • File and serve documents in State and Federal Courts
  • Coordinate court reporters and conference rooms for depositions
  • Assist with scheduling conferences and meetings
  • Review and edit prebills
  • Open new matters and close files.
  • Back up secretaries and legal staff

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years litigation secretary experience
  • Experience with litigation calendaring and docketing
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel experience
  • Proficient in e-filing in State, Federal, and Appellate Courts
  • Legal document formatting experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary : Up to 80K, can be flexible depending on experience.
