Title : Procurement Specialist
Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct vendor evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- Plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals is necessary for managing multiple projects.
- Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly reports on spending and trends.
- Insuring compliance with key budgeting items (ex. Medical supplies, computer / IT purchases, Software Subscriptions)
- Responsible for Purchase Order and Purchase Order Receipts
- Receiving goods in system and verifying quality and quantity
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement software systems.
- Experience in Health Care industry is a plus.
