The Role

Lumen offers a fully immersive, 10-week summer internship program. Our interns demonstrate curiosity, innovation, and a passion for advancing technology.

Program dates : May 30 - August 8, 2025.

This position is fully remote work / work from home.

The Main Responsibilities

As an IT Analyst in our ERP Finance Transformation group, you will be a part of a small team that is preparing to implement and support the Finance area of SAP S4 / HANA.

• Applies IT knowledge and skills to analyze and review system errors.
• Analyzes and documents complex IT processes and provides resolution recommendations.
• Provides support for billing error resolution, testing of bug fixes, and system enhancements.
• Utilizes configuration documents to test various modules of the system; providing insight into training documentation.

Day to Day Responsibilities Will Include :

• Monitoring billing files process within BRIM system
• Work billing file errors daily
• Work support tickets for the finance users
• Update account assignment tables within BRIM
• Research bank posting errors.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Required qualifications
• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
• Graduating August 2025 - May 2027
• Preferred fields include bur not limited to : Business, Computer Science or related field
• Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)
• US work authorization required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.
• Proficiency and understanding of :
• Process Documentation
• Requirements Gathering
• Microsoft Excel
• Data Entry and Data Management
• GUI based tools
• Ability to compare and contrast data elements to identify gaps

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience / qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range :

Min : $26.00 / hour

Max : $43.00 / hour

What to Expect Next

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
