POSITION : IT Network System Administrator
REPORTS TO : Director of Information Technology
SUBORDINATES : None
JOB SUMMARY :
The IT Network System Administrator is part of a team reporting to the Director of IT who is responsible for managing customer's open issues as well as participating in internal department projects and providing regular status reports to management as appropriate.
The IT Support Specialist will model the character virtues and mission of the school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to :
Helpdesk tasks
Resolve IT support requests from staff, faculty and students
Establishes and maintains user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security.
Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves end user issues.
Performing scheduled computer and network tasks
Updating anti-virus, Upgrade of Systems, maintenance of devices.
Provide user support, and specialized training.
Systems Support
Establishes and maintains user e-mail accounts;
Participates in the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware / software support, training, and special projects
System / Software installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving
Creates and update IT documentation;
Manages anti-spam and anti-virus and security software
- Researches and troubleshoots logs, records, and network configurations;
- Maintain VOIP system, Projectors, and other network equipment;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience in the following technologies is preferred
2-5 Years of Experience in an IT / Helpdesk Role
Experience with Windows 10, Server and Google Workspaces
Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service with ability to multitask and manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
Computer Network understanding
Hardware replacement experience
