River Edge is currently seeking Crisis Workers to join our team contracted to provide services in the local hospital Emergency Department.

Location / Schedule : Bibb County / PART-TIME - evening and weekend options

• Monday nights 5 : 00 pm - 8 : 00 am
• Weekends beginning Friday 5 : 00 pm through Monday 8 : 00 am (on-call)
• Divided into shifts of overnight coverage Friday 5 : 00 pm through Saturday 9 : 00 am

Requirements :

• Must have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, MH Counseling, Rehab Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy which would qualify a candidate for licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Fully licensed or associate licensed is strongly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• This position will be working out of the local medical hospital, primarily in the ER, completing crisis assessments on patients who present with mental health and / or substance abuse issues.
• It will be the responsibility of this staff person, working with the ER MD, to determine if the patient needs inpatient placement, to facilitate that placement, and complete the appropriate documentation.
• This position also requires excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.
