Position Summary :
This position will provide senior management oversight for the Operations and Administrative Services Division. They will be responsible for all aspects of Law Enforcement and Business Continuity operations for the following locations : Atlanta, Birmingham, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, and Newark.
This will include managing geographically dispersed leaders at these locations that will collaborate with other functional leaders in Cash Services, Facilities, Food Services, Event Management, Leasing Arrangements, and Personnel Administration.
This position will report to Executive Vice President of Operation and Administrative Services.
Responsibilities :
- Maintains responsibility for overall administration and performance of responsible areas within the Operations and Administrative Services Division in all District locations.
- Has oversight responsibility for Division function offices to establish strategic direction, policy, procedures, cost / efficiency targets and budgets for business lines and maintains accountability for achieving performance.
- Provides back-up support to the Division Executive Vice President and offers direction and guidance on various System and District matters.
- Acts as a representative of the Bank to financial institutions and government agencies. Ensures that effective relationships are maintained with constituents and other external entities.
- Maintains accountability for audit performance, cost and productivity metrics, and effective oversight of functional risk.
- Manages business continuity to ensure emergency preparedness and readiness for identified vulnerabilities, interdependencies, and risks.
- Oversees functional personnel management functions such as hiring, staff development counseling, employee performance appraisals, compensation decisions, and other personnel actions.
- Leads and serves as a representative on District and System workgroups to shape and define Bank and System policies and functional strategies.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with external law enforcement and emergency management agencies.
- Ability to work with Board Personnel on areas related to Law Enforcement Operations.
- Focus on staff development and succession planning top to bottom for assigned functions.
- Responsibility to provide guidance / oversight to peer groups in a matrix management structure.
Education : Undergraduate degree and / or master’s degree preferred.
