Qualified Candidates :
- Board certified / board eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics with specialty certification in pediatric pulmonology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
- Ability to see an average of 20 patients per day

This is the region’s only children’s hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines
- 51-bed, Level-III NICU staffed by our Neonatology team
- 19 bed Pediatric Unit
- 9 Bed PICU staffed by our Pediatric Intensivist team
- Opportunity to work with theFamily Medicine Residents and UNC Medical Students
- Strong MFM program and new MFM Fellowship; good relationships with OBs and OB / GYN Residency
- An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units
- Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
