Associate Interior Designer II Kansas City , Missouri What We're Looking For

Utilizes skills in interior design and knowledge of industry advances to participate in all phases of design, including construction and furniture specification.

Assists project teams in projects of varying levels of size and complexity. Assigned to handle specific technical design aspects of a project for which he / she is responsible including investigating, evaluating, and recommending the design solutions that best meet the client's needs.

Manages small to moderate size projects under the supervision of senior staff

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities :

• Provides professional interior design consulting in the planning, design and coordination of project assignments.
• Applies diverse knowledge of interior design principles and practices for research of interior products, providing color / finish / material research and selection.
• Takes initiative on tactical and some strategic issues for space planning options or design direction. Brings forward new ideas and methods.
• Responsible for communication with project team, consultants and clients.
• Participates in business development activities through client contact with senior Interior Designers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
• 2 years related experience
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 4 years related interior design experience (with Associate's degree)
• Revit skills
