About The Position
Job Title : Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatrics Job Specialty : Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatrics Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1.
5 years of experience in pediatric echo technology required License : License in hand or compact required at the time of submission Certifications : PALS / BLS required Must-Have : Must adhere to the 50-mile radius rule Job Description : Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures on pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and provide accurate assessments.- Maintain quality control and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.
- Provide patient care with consideration for age-specific needs and characteristics.- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and reports.- Participate in orientation and comply with facility requirements.
- Must have completed the required orientation hours prior to independent work.- Travel compliance and other requirements must be met before the start date.
- Required to have two professional references.- Willingness to float to different units as needed.- Must be compliant with flu vaccine requirements;
medical / religious exemptions allowed.
