Full Time / First Shift
The Oncology Clinic Nurse has a strong knowledge base in the care of oncology patients and its related processes. This position will coordinate the care of oncology patients for the physicians, and in doing so, will have frequent interaction with the patient and others involved in the patient’s care.
Important skill sets to possess are organizational, people-oriented, and self-starter skills. Since this position represents our practice, a strong sense of professionalism is vital.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required :
- Current RN licensure in Kentucky or a Nursing Licensure Compact State.
- Must maintain an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- 1-3 years of oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Previous experience in chemotherapy administration or outpatient infusion preferred.
