Responsibilities
- Preparing and executing a wide range of Southern-inspired dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Following recipes and maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operation
- Practicing proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Adhering to established cooking methods, portion sizes, and plating techniques to deliver consistent and exceptional dishes.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting fellow team members and promoting a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant.
- Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to learn and follow processes.
- This position will spend 100% of the time standing and walking.
