Maintenance Technician II - B
Huntsville, AL
Contract Position
Responsibilities :
Lead all machine tool service requirements and perform and schedule factory-required preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Safely work within an industrial environment
Maintain and repair machine tools and other equipment
Maintain all machine service records
Operate as the area Maintenance SME with production
Successfully pass all training as required
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years experience in multi-skilled maintenance, a minimum of 2 disciplines
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as mills, lathes, lasers, robots, ovens, dip tanks, and various assembly manufacturing equipment
- Familiar with reading electrical schematics and diagrams
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of precision hand tools
- Familiar with the use of personal computers and CMMS
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a . citizen or national, . permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the . as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Preferred Qualifications : Fanuc, Haas, Mori-Seiki, and Siemens controls experienceMachine ladder logic and PLC experienceExperience with laser welding and vacuum chambersMulti-axis lathe, multi-axis mill, and multi-axis VTL experienceExperience with industrial ovensExperience with Production Assembly equipmentIntegration of accessory machine componentsMachine operation experienceHazard waste management experienceExperience operating heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts around flight-critical hardware
