Job Role : Product Development Manager (remote)
Location : Orlando Florida
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : This is a fulltime remote positionMonday through Friday
Required :
- Hightech industryproduct engineering and / or IT work experience (710years);
- Management experience in educationrelatedproducts such as a Learning Management System or StudentInformation System;
- Experience with Azure DevOps (springplanning monitoring backlog refinement bug trackingetc.);
Experience with managing team(s) responsible forsoftware hardware design engineering and developmentfunctions.
Preferred :
Scrum Master orProject Management Experience and / or certification.
Responsibilities include but are notlimited to the following :
- Manage research anddevelopment activities relating to the design and development ofsoftware or hardware products and qualification or requalificationof new and existing products;
- Work with acrossfunctional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirementsevaluate product performance and transition products fromdevelopment to commercialization;
- Assist in determiningproduct delivery and deployment dates for new product releasesfeature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service orservice pack releases;
- Act as a technical consultant tothe product organization and lead research and prototyping ofinnovative technologies and products;
- Ensure thetechnology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properlyaligned with and supports the product / businessroadmap;
- Act as a customer liaison on technical issuesrelated to product integration custom development andrequirements;
May lead major releases and ensure featureenhancements respond to customer requests.
