EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR CASHIER :
- Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing
- count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift
- maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean
- file the daily invoices
- call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear
- call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit)
- copy and match all finance approvals
- process special orders and handwritten tickets
- take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management.
