Job Description :
L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Order Management Specialist. This position will be based in Rochester.
This role will be responsible for directing and managing the processing of quotes and sales orders including : Review Request for Proposal / Request of Quotation (RFP / RFQ's) to determine ultimate end-user compliance with export regulations and pricing policy.
Essential Functions :
- Works with Central Sales and Program Management to determine delivery and contract requirements while submitting and tracking trade compliance requests to ensure compliance to all internal and external policies.
- Interpret government contracts and purchase orders for compliance and requirements and is responsible for accurate translation to sales order.
Review Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses to determine legal compliance in the areas of quality, payment terms, price, delivery and packaging for contracts.
Understand, communicate, and mitigate risk of delayed shipments due to incomplete order processing requirements to both external and internal customers
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Order Management experience. Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Order Management experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Order Management experience

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $50,000 - $93,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
