Executive Sous Chef

Location : Los Angeles, CA will provide relocation assistance

Salary : $90,000 to $100,000 + great perks!

Our clients are starting to open a search for an Executive Sous Chef who comes with both fine-dining and high-volume experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large kitchen teams and executing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, be a strong leader with clear communication and be eager to develop themselves within the company.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary vision and style.

Manage and lead a team of sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, ensuring that all kitchen staff are trained and operating at the highest level.

Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.

Develop and implement systems for inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.

Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment and ensure that all food safety standards are met or exceeded.

Requirements :

At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Thorough knowledge of modern and classic culinary techniques, as well as proficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of culinary professionals.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Knowledge of food and labor cost controls, as well as experience with menu planning and inventory management.
