CNC PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS :
- CNC Wood-Working Experience
- AUTOCAD Drafting
- Knowledge of CNC Programming Systems woodWOP or AlphaCam
- Strong attention to detail and judgment
CNC PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters
- Inventory control checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipating needs, and verifying receipt of stock.
- Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements- including basic math, geometry, and algebra, and providing part programs
