Job Description :
A well-known MSP is looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Field Technician to join the team. As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of their IT systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide on-site technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on client systems.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
- Document all support activities and resolutions.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with company and client IT policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an IT Field Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Relevant certifications (., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
