Contract Analyst
- Desired Work Location : Miramar, FL (Hybrid required 12 days a month)
- Skill Set required : Base analyst with 1- 2 years contract management experience in the information technology space
Overview
The Contract Analyst is responsible for the in-depth review and coordination of IT-related contract documents. This role manages the flow of Information Technology contract documents throughout the review lifecycle, from inception to final execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, tracking, and coordination of all IT-related agreements (hardware, software, IT staffing / consulting, data), in collaboration with Procurement, IT teams, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication with executive management on strategic contract negotiations by reporting on critical metrics regularly.
- Act as a liaison between IT and Legal, coordinating contract reviews and facilitating meetings with vendors and business teams.
- Oversee the process of obtaining service level agreements (SLA) and contractual waivers for contracts that do not meet company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to contract processes and technology, particularly within the BAR platform, responding to business feedback to enhance user adoption and satisfaction.
- Participate in IT Finance projects to enhance the BAR platform and related processes.
- Manage the contract intake process to ensure timely acknowledgment, tracking, and routing of contract review requests.
- Validate new contract submissions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of data entered into the BAR platform.
- Work with IT teams, business functions, and Legal to prioritize contract review submissions across the organization.
- Communicate business term changes to owners and vendors as necessary.
- Obtain approval from IT leadership on contract documents prior to signature.
- Maintain and monitor the BAR platform to ensure contract review requests are actively worked and completed, and that fully executed documents are properly cataloged and linked for future reference.
- Monitor the electronic signature system, identifying and escalating bottlenecks in the signature workflow.
- Handle contract renewals and terminations proactively by monitoring contract review reports.
- Respond to status update requests regarding the progress of documents within the CLM and electronic signature systems.
- Assist with IT compliance activities to ensure adherence to licensing agreement requirements.
- Recruit, mentor, and support personnel assigned to the contracts administration function.
- Stay current on contract administration best practices and IT trends, and provide training and mentoring to IT teams and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the contracts administration team.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including IT leadership and business executive leadership.
- Develop and recommend changes to systems, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technology management, customer relationship management, and staff management.
- Proven experience in contracts management with IT vendors.
- Experience with one or more contract life cycle management (CLM) systems, as well as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Apttus / Conga Administrator (201 CLM Essentials Certification).
- Experience in continuous improvement / process management, including certifications like Lean Six Sigma.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience in the food and beverage, CPG, or distribution industry.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret legal contract documents, especially IT contracts including Statements of Work , MSA , EULA , and Licensing agreements.
- Experience with one or more CLM systems and proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
