As a Sr. Low Code Power platform Developer Architect, you help execute Fortune Brands Innovation’s digital strategy in alignment with business needs and priorities.
You collaborate closely with technology teams and business teams to enable our fast-paced business to grow and evolve. Working with a high-performance team, you focus on the timely design and delivery of initiatives using modern platforms and systems integration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology architecture design, and software development with a proven track record of designing complex applications using power platform technology.
This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in one of our main offices located in Deerfield, IL or Oak Creek, WI to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design / blueprint the applications and integrations using various design patterns.
- Develop and ensure that the best practices in code development and processes are followed.
- Lead design, development & systems integration activities, monitor and coordinate activities with onshore and offshore developers.
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and compliance with coding standards.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported and take corrective action.
- Translate end-user requirements into feasible technical specifications, and low-level design.
- Participate in scrum meetings and meet customer needs by certifying deliverables.
- Maintain the system environments, code migration, and project governance.
- Ability to express ideas in both business and user-friendly languages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of leading the design, development, and implementation of custom business applications using the MS Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate
- 3+ years of software development experience with a good understanding of the software architectural patterns, C#, .NET Core
- 2+ years of experience in Developing and customizing connectors, plugins, and integrations to extend the functionality of Power Platform applications and integrate with other systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Designing data models, user interfaces, and workflows within Power Apps to create intuitive and efficient applications
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
- Experience with MS Dynamics Service CRM designs and development is a plus.
- Experience with front-end technologies, Angular, CSS, HTML
- Knowledge of REST / SOAP APIs and various integration patterns using JSON, XML, SOAP
- Hands-on experience using DevOps tools (Azure, GIT, Bitbucket)
- Develop, deploy, and manage integration workflows using Dell Boomi platform.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Plus : Knowledge of scrum methodology
