Position Title Assistant Professor, Population Health Position Number 897009 School / Division School of Health Sciences Department Population Health Full-Time or Part-Time Full-Time Description Assistant Professor with Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY).
Within the Department of Population Health, School of Health Sciences, teach courses in population health in the Master of Public Health program.
Qualifications Requires Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent, in Public Health or a closely related field.
Demonstrated record of academic scholarship, research, and other scholarly activities, with a research focus in the areas of population health, public health, and epidemiology, and a strong commitment to research and teaching.
Requires at least two (2) years of experience as a professor or lecturer in public health or epidemiology at a university.
- Experience must include : teaching graduate-level Master of Public Health courses in epidemiology and statistical methods;
- Leading epidemiology and public health research; serving as principal investigator in public health research projects, advising graduate students in public health programs;
