SoftwareDevelopment Engineering (High Tech) focus on developing multipletypes / categories of software including enduser applications andoperating systems / utility software that provides a platform forrunning end user applications.

The workincludes :

Conducting requirements gathering and analysisto understand the domain of the software problem and / orfunctionality the interfaces between hardware and software and theoverall software characteristics

Using programmingscripting and / or database languages to write the softwarecode

Supporting software testing deployment maintenanceand evolution activities by correcting programming errorsresponding to scope changes and coding softwareenhancements

Applying knowledge of software developmentbest practices including coding standards code reviews sourcecontrol management build processes testing andoperations

Skills specific to this roleincludes :

Proven experience working as Full stackdeveloper or similar role.

Experience working withdesktop and web applications.

Knowledge of working withmultiple frontend frameworks and libraries (html / CSS java scriptjQuery React / Angular JS).

Familiarity with databases SQLor NoSQL (e.g. MySQL MongoDB) web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI / UXdesign.

Experience in working with backend programming(e.g. node .js)

Should have familiarity working withScalable application frameworks application of inmemorydatabases.

Effective oral and written communication withstrong analytical problem solving skills

Understandingof Windows and UNIX / Linux server storage environments

Description : Supports engineering activities such as design, test,check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypeelectro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, orspecialized test equipment.

Applications may include analog,digital and / or video circuits and logic systems. Works fromschematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts ordefined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shootingfunctions.

Performs operational test and fault isolation on systemsand equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedymalfunctions.

Assists in the design, construction, test, andcheck-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development,or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, testprograms oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized testapparatus.

Must be proficient navigating in various operatingsystems such as Linux, Unix, CentOS, Windows10 or later, WindowsSever.

Must be proficient in using MS products such as Office365,SharePoint, Teams etc. This person will work individually as wellas part of a team and will need to work well with others.
