The Washburn University Athletics Department is currently accepting applications for a 10-month temporary position in Sports Information.
Washburn University is a public institution in Topeka, Kansas with more than 7, students and 1, faculty and staff involved in more than academic programs.

The start date is anticipated for August 10, , and the successful candidate is expected to commit to working for 10 months with an anticipated end date of May 10, .
The candidate will generally work between 20-35 hours per week with weekend and evening work required.
Bachelor's degree in sports management, journalism, communications, or related field.
Proven effective writing and editing skills.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated general sports knowledge.
A proven understanding of StatCrew programs, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, lnDesign, etc.), and social media.
