As the Vice President of Business Development at Epsilon, you will play a crucial role in shaping our growth trajectory within Retail Media.

Your Role and Impact to Success
Purpose
The VP, Sales is positioned to attract retailers and enable faster growth for retailer acquisition. This role is meant to acquire retailers faster across the Americas, while taking the lead role in the relationship building with Retailers during the pitching, contracting, and onboarding process.
Accountability
This position will report into the SVP of Business Development. Performance will be evaluated through successful building of the sales pipeline, moving retailers towards a signed contract, SaaS revenue generated through Retailer launch and growth, and growth and expansion across the Americas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Retailer Research Pre-Sales and Outreach
- Drive targeted sales outreach through :
- Retailer financial performance and key initiatives
- Existing monetization tech
- Key contracts to target outreach
- Introduction opportunities through common connections to key contracts
- Discovery and evaluation of customer needs
- Salesforce CRM updates
- Organization of outreach and follow up cadence
- Pitching
- Partnership with Retailer Sales team to build and present effectively, supported by :
- Working with the Creative / Sales Support team to create branded demos and capability decks
- Preparation for the intro meeting by researching the retailer contacts and prepping the Retailer sales team
- Meeting recap and organization next steps
- Coordination with Legal for NDAs
- Ensuring follow ups are happening effectively and on-time
- Getting from Yes to Contract Signature and Onboarding Transition
- Coordination with internal Legal team to ensure quick legal review and turnaround.
- Managing and coordinating early onboarding with internal teams and tech leads.
Strengths

- Proficient knowledge in publisher, programmatic and retail media ecosystem

Work Experience
10+ years’ experience in business development, sales, account management across digital marketing, data or advertising technology.
Specific experience with retail or retail media desired
- 10+ years’ experience with cross-functional collaboration, including creative and technical
- Full working knowledge and sales understanding in the following categories; Adtech, Martech, Ecommerce, Digital, CPG, Media, Data, and Retail.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, in a related field preferred
