job_description.job_card.job_descriptionIdentify, analyze and interpret benefits plan data to identify population risk, financial, and utilization trends. Develop risk strategies through value-based plan design, contribution, and benefits initiatives. Prepare financial forecasts through predictive modeling tools. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality. Enhance the plan communications platform by leveraging technology. Support sales and prospecting efforts in the Large Group Practice. Present plan performance reports to clients on a scheduled basis. Evaluate current product results; identify needs to be filled; monitor competitive options, and analyze and relay customer experience. Travel for client / prospect meetings and incorporate time in the office for planning, preparation, and training. Provide team and client with appropriate timelines to meet expectations and turnaround times. Manage a team of Junior Analysts to ensure that they contribute to the team goals by accomplishing related projects, provide technical guidance and training to other team members as assigned, and complete and submit all required reports based on assigned deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Travel is expected to be 10% in this role. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or similar degree preferred Employee Benefits experience required Proficient utilization of data analytics tools preferred (e.g., Cotiviti, Claros, etc.) Microsoft Office proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new software systems; Advanced Knowledge of Self-Funding preferred but not required
