Job Description
The starting pay range for this position begins at $16 / hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Full Time : a position averaging 35+ hours a week.
Housekeepers must be able to clean guest rooms to the expected standards in an expedited manner while offering exceptional guest service.
Associates will work in a team atmosphere. Duties include : upkeep and presentation of rooms and other locations as assigned;
dusting, vacuuming, polishing furniture, and sanitizing bathrooms; and responsibility for amenity replenishments. Duties may also include deep cleaning projects and / or floor care within areas as required.
Attendants will also offer general assistance and support for the department, leadership, and the company.

Schedule can vary, but is generally 8am-4pm; days vary & include weekends.
Requirements :
1. Previous experience in housekeeping and / or custodial, janitorial, or related field strongly preferred.
2. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and / or rooms operations preferred.
3. Commitment to delivering world class guest service and anticipating guest needs.
4. Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques helpful.
5. Proven ability to multi-task effectively, work as part of a team and under deadlines, and exercise good judgment.Must be able to prioritize.
6. Excellent attention to detail is a must.
7. Ability to be proactive and take initiative as appropriate.
8. Solid communication skills.Must be able to respond appropriately to guest requests.
9. Ability to operate / use small commercial cleaning equipment.
Physical Requirements :
1. Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
2. Endure various physical movements throughout the work area; must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, reach overhead and below.
3. Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift; may occasionally work in locations where the ability to climb ladders or stairs would be required.
Essential Job Duties
1. Accept and complete daily assignments while maintaining proper time management skills and exceptional performance.
2. Proper storage, replacement and placement of guest room amenities and linens.
3. Make up beds in guest rooms following standards; dust and vacuum guest rooms.
4. Proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals maintaining safety measures.
5. Cleaning and sanitizing of guest bathrooms, mirrors and windows, using proper chemicals.
6. Emptying trash and disposing of properly.
7. Stocking and cleaning housekeeping cart.
8. Deep cleaning the rooms as necessary.
