Position Summary :
The Learning Experiences Director is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our educational and training initiatives.
This role also oversees the Product Work Groups that connect our members with technology developers, ensuring continuous improvement in the technology used by our members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational content development, speaker recruitment and management, and project management, with a focus on technology and professional development.
The Learning Experiences Director will also play a crucial role in fostering relationships with technology partners, especially Vertafore, to enhance the learning experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities :
Educational Content Creation and Curation :
- Develop, curate, and manage a comprehensive library of educational materials, both for online platforms and major regional and national events.
- Source and collaborate with education leads, speakers, and facilitators to deliver high-quality content that includes technology-specific education as well as personal and professional development.
- Develop and manage a robust education plan across all learning opportunities channels.
Product Work Groups Leadership :
- Oversee and coordinate the organization’s Product Work Groups, connecting members with technology developers to improve and refine the technology solutions used by our members.
- Work closely with Vertafore and other technology partners to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding technology advancements and member needs.
Event and Logistical Management :
- Recruit, confirm, and support speakers, facilitators, volunteer solutions user educators, third-party providers, and partners to deliver best-in-class education for the NetVU community.
- Ensure smooth execution of all educational activities at events, maintaining high standards of organization and participant satisfaction.
Committee Liaison :
Serve as the staff liaison for education-related committees of volunteers, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve educational goals.
Budget Management :
Develop and manage the budget for educational programs, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Collaboration and Relationship Building :
- Establish and maintain key relationships with Vertafore and other technology partners, gaining a deep understanding of their solutions and the educational needs of our members.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful learning experiences.
Travel :
Travel as required to manage and oversee educational programs and events.
Qualifications :
Education : BA / BS degree recommended.
Experience :
- Prior experience working in an independent insurance agency using Vertafore solutions is recommended.
- Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in educational content development and project management.
- Ability to lead, manage, and hold accountable direct report(s) and volunteers related to project timelines and deliverables.
