Dual Hotel Director Of Rooms
Are you a customer-oriented hospitality professional looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities?
If so, you might be the ideal candidate to manage our dual director of rooms position supporting the Embassy Suites & Homewood Suites Newark Wilmington South.
We require someone capable of ensuring that all our hotel guests have a 5-star experience. Along with supervising staff in the housekeeping and front office departments.
You will also need to create expense plans and strategies to ensure our hotel remains profitable. Ideal candidates have at least three years of experience as a supervisor, preferably in the hospitality industry, and excel at working with people and communicating.

Responsibilities :
- Measure employee success with regards to performance in productivity, customer satisfaction, and absences
- Direct and manage the day-to-day activities and personnel of the departments of housekeeping and front office
- Educate and familiarize new hires with the policies and protocols of the hotel
- Ensure that all customers are provided timely attention to their requirements or needs from department staff
- Develop long-term strategic plans for their division to meet company goals and maintain profitability
Qualifications :
- Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
- Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A High school diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is required
- Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service
