We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Loan Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Loan Acquisition team! This team is the gateway to homeownership for our borrowers.
In this position, you will review single-family mortgage loan files, confirm the ability to purchase the loan, pool / sell the loan on the secondary market, service the loan efficiently, and effectively foreclose.

In this role, you will :
- Review closed lender loans files for purchase
- Maintain a minimum of 120 lender loan files purchases per month
- Identify potential issues and communicate with the lender
- Assist lenders with problem solving
- Adherence to agency, IHFA, and Partner State guidelines
- Coordinate with teammates to facilitate a smooth and accurate process
Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in mortgage lending
- Ability to work independently with great attention to detail and efficient time management
- 10-key and typing skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in title or escrow
- Four year degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent work experience) is desired
- Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships
- Must exhibit excellent communication skills
