Job Description : Position Summary

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nobis Supervisor, this position will follow clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, such as completing item supply orders, inventorying stock items, handling material under 20lbs, opening and closing the supply inventory system, issuing audio and visual equipment, and notifying agency staff of low levels of inventory.

Little or no subject-matter knowledge is required, but the Clerk uses their own judgment in choosing the proper procedure for each task.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Completes item supply order.
  • Inventories stock items.
  • Handles material under 20 pounds.
  • Assist with unloading and stocking the shipment when it is received and receive items in SIS System.
  • Handles material over 20 pounds using equipment.
  • Opens the supply inventory system.
  • Closes the supply Inventory system.
  • Completes monthly supply report.
  • Fills 5 item supply order at the window.
  • Issues Audio and Visual Equipment.
  • Locates items using the item on SIS.
  • Complete all floors paper visual, distribute paper to the entire facility according to need.
  • Notify agency staff of low levels of inventory so that stock orders can be prepared. Keep track of all backorders.
  • Responsible for maintaining all ground mail into database.
  • Receive stock, count and input quantities into supply system and stock shelves.
  • Position requires light lifting and / or carrying not to exceed 50 pounds

Experience and Skills :

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; or any combination of experience education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required. MG1
  • Prior office experience is helpful.
  • Must pass drug screen and federal background check.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
