Enterprise Reporting Tableau Developer

The Opportunity :

The Business Analytics team sits within Booz Allen Hamilton’s Enterprise Technology, Services, and Solutions (ETSS) organization.

We are responsible for building and maintaining actionable and automated Tableau dashboards, alerts, data models, data queries and other data solutions for internal and client-facing business leaders.

We partner with teams across the organization on initiatives to drive strategy and improve enterprise reporting capabilities our data solutions evolve to meet emerging business priorities.

This is a highly visible role where you will be present and interact with senior leaders. You’ll have an opportunity to make a measurable and meaningful impact on the success of our firm.

You will build and maintain data solutions that leaders leverage daily to make decisions about contracts, staffing, risk mitigation, and much more!

In this role you will develop partnerships with business leaders to understand, document, prioritize, and solve their firmwide reporting requirements.

Equipped with communication, project management, data modeling and data visualization expertise, you will collaborate within your immediate team of Tableau developers and data modelers to transform disparate data sources and reports into meaningful data solutions.

You’ll also own existing enterprise dashboards, which you’ll update, troubleshoot, and enhance over time.

You Have :

  • 2+ years of experience in working with Tableau
  • Experience with Alteryx and SQL
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both team and client settings
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex and ambiguous problems
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and clients to develop products and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to be self-sufficient in developing work plans to produce Tableau dashboards under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have :

  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau Prep, or other data modeling tools or languages a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodology and project management systems, including Jira
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage client expectations, shape requirements, and communicate effectively when problem solving

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
