Description : Job descriptionPosition Overview : (Brief summary of primary responsibilities) Operates forklift truck to receive, store, stage and distribute material and products within the facility.

Returning all excess inventory to stock, packaging shipments, assisting in shipping / receiving, and keeping the warehouse organized.

Also responsible for daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries.Requirements : Qualifications : 1-3 years 'related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience in warehouse manufacturing environment.High School educationStrong PC computer skills.

Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack or dollies in a safeForklift certified is a plusClean DMV recordKey responsibilities : (Behaviors, Skills, Responsibilities)Operates forklifts to receive, store, stage and distribute material and products within the facility.

Daily ReportingConveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.

Manages & returns excess material.Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.

Maintain adequate inventory levels and practicesFills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes itemsAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Perform daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries as neededPerform daily cycle count in raw material warehouseEnsure Compliance with all company safety standardsAssist in shipping and receiving functionsSupport other departments in areas where Warehouse Clerk may helpTimely and accurate completion of all special assignments or projects as requiredPhysical RequirementsStanding : This is an essential job function / physical requirement.
