Asa Securities Lawyer you will advise clients on matters related tosecurities law including public offerings private placements andregulatory compliance.
You will draft and review legal documentsmanage securities transactions and represent clients in dealingswith regulatorybodies.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Adviseclients on securities law including public offerings privateplacements and compliance with securitiesregulations.
- Draftreview and file legal documents related to securitiestransactions.
- Representclients in negotiations and interactions with regulatorybodies.
- Conductdue diligence and risk assessments for securitiesrelatedtransactions.
- Stayinformed of changes in securities law and advise clientsaccordingly.
Requirements
- JurisDoctor (JD) degree from an accredited lawschool.
- Membershipin good standing with the provincialBar.
- 3years of experience in securities law preferably with a focus oncorporatefinance.
- Strongknowledge of securities regulations and compliancerequirements.
- Excellentanalytical and communicationskills.
