Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on dam projects for their team in Denver, Colorado!

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical leadership / project management for water resources projects
  • Tasks include inspection, investigation, evaluation, design, and construction of both existing and new dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures
  • Promote high standards and exceed industry standards
  • Develop / review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
  • Conduct senior-level review of construction documents (calculations, plans, specifications)
  • Assist with business development
  • Build / maintain client relationships
  • Coordinate project workloads with multiple offices
  • Represent firm at networking events

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 12+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical, and / or structural engineering
  • PE License
  • Proficient in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Knowledge of state and federal dam safety design methodologies, policies, and regulations
  • Project management / client relations experience
  • Business development and proposal experience

Salary is commensurate with experience.
