University College at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) seeks a full-time lecturer to begin Fall . TAMIU is a growing university of over 8, students located in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant bilingual and bicultural city with a population of about ,.

For more information, visit This is a non-tenure track, 9-month full time position. Primary duties will include teaching 30 semester credit hours mainly to students who participate in the university’s Developmental Education Program every academic year, advising students, holding office hours, participating in University College / TAMIU meetings, events, and / or activities, as requested.

Complete training in a timely manner. Duties also include contributing to college and university service opportunities. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Required Qualifications :

The successful candidate must hold a master’s degree in English or closely related area (18sch of graduate English courses must be shown in candidate’s transcript).
