Weare seeking an onsite fulltime construction Inspector at our WestPalm Beach FL. VA EHRM InfrastructureUpgrade.
Education and ExperienceRequirements :
- Associates degree or graduate of anaccredited Trade School or formal Construction apprenticeshipprogram.
- Educationalrequirements may be substituted by 10 years of directly relatedexperience.
- Minimumof 5 years of experience in construction inspection and contractoroversight activities associated with facilities (i.
e. buildingsstructures equipment systems etc.) construction andimplementation.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Perform field inspections to evaluate thework performed and materials used.
- Verify the quality of workmanship quality ofmaterials used and compliance with plans specifications estimatesand applicable codes and regulations.
- Note deficiencies and deviations from plans;refer serious problems and disagreements in interpretation to ChiefProjects.
- Maintainupdate and assure the accuracy of inspection records projectdocumentation and project files.
RequiredSkills :
- Familiarity with handling RFI change orderssubmittals logs etc.
- Field knowledge of safety scheduling and costcontrol.
- Ability toread and interpret construction documents.
PreferredQualifications :
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolvingskills.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part ofa team.
