Qualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, with specific expertise in transmission components (metallic, plastic, and electronics).
• APQP & PPAP Expertise : Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PVP, PSW, and related quality documentation processes.
• Manufacturing Knowledge : Hands-on experience with various manufacturing processes such as forging, machining, die casting, heat treatment, stamping, and welding.
• Auditing Experience : Proven track record of conducting supplier quality audits, evaluating manufacturing capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Nice to have : Knowledge of AUROS platform, APQP process & Six Sigma are a plus.

Skills & Competencies :

• Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies in transmissions
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed
