As the Manager, Accounting you will be responsible for providing management for an assigned team and for facilitating semi-complex to complex accounting work to include inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining the General Ledger in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and in accordance with the company's policies and procedures

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function for the Business Unit.
• Responsible for complex general accounting, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and fixed asset management.
• Review the reconciliation and justifications for all general ledger accounts and ensure maintenance of reconciliation records.
• Responsible for the fiscal financial close for the Business Unit / Company.
• Review, make, approve and manage journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead the year-end and other intermittent audits and ensure auditors are provided with accurate and defensible information.
• Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all Company financial policies and procedures, while evaluating alternative acceptable GAAP policies.
• Review appropriate manufacturing variance results and provide analysis where applicable.
• Review and approve standard costing changes both ad hoc and scheduled.
• Provide advanced assistance with accounting issues, when appropriate.
• Manage the activities of the assigned team.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Your Qualifications

Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum Work Experience : Six (6) years of experience as an Accountant.

License(s) / Certification(s) : Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
