Regional Infusion Pharmacy Manager
Complete responsibility for management of the pharmacy departments servicing patients receiving specialized and complex therapies administered in their homes.
Responsibilities :
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for Infusion services, sterile preparations, and compounding for multiple locations in multiple states.
- Supervision of professional, paraprofessional, and support staff.
- Provide support to company business by compiling data for appropriate company departments
- Maintains records of all transactions to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
- Submits appropriate claims for third-party reimbursement
- Consults with referral sources and advises on formulary medications and cost-effective and innovative therapies
Qualifications :
- Licensed Pharmacist with a PharmBS / PharmD from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- Four years of Pharmacy Management experience.
- Minimum two years infusion therapy compounding experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to take on a wide range of duties and projects and prioritize appropriately.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
