The position will include membership in the Knight Cancer Institute and a faculty appointment in an OHSU School of Medicine Department at the Associate or Full Professor level, depending on qualifications.

The appointee shall play an important role in helping to lead the KDL and the Knight Biolibrary, in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

In addition, KDL offer CRO-type services to outside academic and commercial enterprises, thereby playing an important role in the development and clinical adoption of novel molecular diagnostic tests.
