• Pay rate : $25+ per hour (depending on experience)
• Friday - Sunday
• Day Shift : 5 : 00 am 5 : 30 pm

Raise Workforce has partnered with Kelvion, a global manufacturer of industrial heat exchangers for a highly diversified range of market segments including energy.

Their services can be applied to data center, chemical industries; marine applications; HVAC and refrigeration; and environmental as well as the food and beverage industries.

We are looking for a Header Fitter Welder, who will be responsible for fitting and welding fabricated and forged components to assemble header components.

This role requires expertise in SMAW, GMAW, and / or GTAW processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Fit and weld components using the appropriate welding process and procedure.
• Set up welding equipment for various materials.
• Use tools such as hammers, wedges, drift pins, and grinders to prepare and finish workpieces.
• Operate overhead or jib cranes to position workpieces.
• Straighten warped or bent parts using a straightening press.
• Utilize cutting torches and / or plasma cutters proficiently.
• Accurately use measuring devices like tape measures, squares, and levels.
• Maintain production records of parts and jobs as required.
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
• Work cooperatively with team members and interact respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, and management.
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in welding and fitting.
• Must have experience with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and / or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring devices.
• Ability to work overtime and interchange with others in the department.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The position is identified as safety-sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test and criminal record check.
