Summary : The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of all food and beverage operations located in Carousel Gardens, Storyland, and other venues throughout the park.
The primary role of this position is to ensure all the food and drinks are of the highest quality and to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Other duties may be assigned :
- Responsible for operation and cleanliness of the assigned area.
- Responsible for overseeing monetary transactions in the operations of each location.
- Works closely with the Food and Beverage Team Lead(s) to ensure correct stock levels are accurate based on business demands.
- Ensures quality food and beverage service and presentation.
- Coordinates employee's daily breaks
- Handles and manages customer complaints and offers resolutions within the guidelines set by the Recreational Services department.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy Food and Beverage locations by following and enforcing proper sanitation standards as set forth by Louisiana Health Codes.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Other duties / responsibilities as assigned by the Concessions Manager.
Qualifications and Education requirements :
- High school / GED with three years’ experience in customer service
- Active driver’s license
- Must be willing to be practically involved and lead by example.
- Must be a passionate leader who can motivate and inspire fellow peers and subordinates.
- Displays effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Displays problem-solving, analytical abilities and a sense of urgency.
- Must obtain SERV Safe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certification in a reasonable period after start of employment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
